The only reason this article exists is because he probably found himself surprised by the fact that Canonical seems to be moving so quickly with Mir as they are, and he even wrote an article about that very thing earlier today, only to finish off the article with saying that it couldn't possibly work anyway for no particular reason. And now, in order to save his face and insist that Canonical never finishes anything, he pulls up a project that is actually complete and needs no further maintenance, and which has really been replaced by Git in most respects anyway, and tries to use that as a justification for his viewpoint.
It's okay to criticize Canonical, but this isn't critique. This is slander.
EDIT: And I find it incredibly hypocritical coming from the guy who cried foul for Canonical slandering Wayland. It's one thing to be clueless, it's a completely different thing to be a deliberate hypocrite.
