The full DVD install of opensuse let's you choose gnome or kde in the install. The cd sized installers come in a KDE and Gnome images as seen here:

openSUSE 12.3 GNOME Edition has been launched today by the openSUSE Project, alongside all the other flavors, KDE, XFCE, and E17.
