Phoronix: Mesa 9.2 Release Brings New Features, Performance
After about six months of development Mesa 9.2 was released this evening. The Mesa 9.2 release doesn't advance its OpenGL compliance in any major form for the prominent open-source drivers, but there are new features, GL extensions supported, and much better performance...
Isn't this also the first release with Radeon UVD support? Good news all around!
If the Ubuntu people could compile support for vdpau in xorg-edgers I would be happy. As it is now, I have to compile it from source or wait 'til Fabio starts to make packages for Saucy.
