    The Ubuntu SDK is already available for download on Raring. Just apt-get install ubuntu-sdk. There are ppas by the SDK team set up for newer versions of some of the packages as they become available:

    Is this some proprietary Ubuntu-only technology that will further fragment Linux?

    Is Canonical doing EEE (Embrace, Extend, Extinguish) ?

    It's all based on QML and Qt and using Qt Designer. What Canonical added and will keep adding and improving is widgets. They also plan to put tutorials up on their developer site.

    If you're going to bash someone at least have the decency to actually know what it is that you are talking about. Go. Read. Educate yourself.
