QXL DRM Driver Gets Dynamic Resizing, Multi CRTCs
Phoronix: QXL DRM Driver Gets Dynamic Resizing, Multi CRTCs
The QXL KMS/DRM driver that was merged for Linux 3.10 and supports Red Hat's SPICE with guest virtual machines on QEMU, is picking up more features for Linux 3.11...
So can you use QXL to run Wayland under a virtual machine?
From what I take it, Wayland can only run on llvmpipe in a virtual machine. This is because QXL does not support EGL + the required extension as far as I know.
