    With 3.11, it seems that the nice level of processes is largely ignored, and turning off /proc/sys/kernel/sched_autogroup_enabled no longer fixes it.

    So rather than Folding@Home running in the background, it still has nice 19, but now takes half the CPU while other things only get the other half of the CPU time.

    Wow, that sucks!

    If nice levels aren't respected, then its basically useless.
