As a person who uses a notebook away from plugs often, I hope this will increase my battery life without too much or any impact on performance. It's always annoying how my Windows install will get longer battery life (unscientifically measured) unless I purposefully reduce the notebook's performance to use less power. Longer battery life on my phone is nice too.

Looking forward to combined power and performance tests!
