Default It's official - via supports os!

    hi,
just read an article about the linux foundation summit. it seems that via is going to release docs on VIA-CN700-, CX700/M-, CN896- and VX800 (just a few days released before) and release driver (don't know about the sources, but i think so). they're going to open a bugzilla/feature request/bug management on their hp (http://linux.via.com.tw/ yet not there), release every 3 months new drivers and beta-versions!

here is a german article about it (for everyone who's able to read it )

but i think that michael is already writing on an article^^

Nice. At least we can eventually support their IGP lineup in it's entirety like we do Intel's and soon AMD's. Now if only they'd let us have the tech data on their discrete parts, things would be near perfect.

    Good move, VIA.
