i'm planning on buying a new laptop with a x2400hm board included, but i'm wondering how does it work on linux.
is this a board that works well or i'd better trow myself from a bridge before having it working well.
my needs are:
- video playing
- everyday use (reading/writing stuff, internet browsing ecc)
- i need a plain a smooth view since i work a lot on the pc (more than 12 hours/day) => i need rendering and font antialiasing to work.
- if it has a working tv output would be better.

now, can fglrx or radeonhd(radeon) support these needs at the moment?!
