    Default New Nvidia driver?

    It's been a while since nvidia last updated their (stable) driver, February 26 to be excact, are there any statistics as to how often they use to update?

    Next week will probably be a new NVIDIA release. Since February though they have had two beta releases.

    I got word that there will be a new non beta release before the end of the month.

    I hope it fixes the woeful 2D performance, but I doubt it.

    I wonder what nvidia means by long term and short term? Short term months and long term years?

    "Long term" is something to look forward to while "short term" is something to get excited about

    I wonder if they're going to make any headway in the "long term" with video acceleration. It's either that or 2D that makes watching a video and dragging a window horrible. Video jumps back and forth a couple of frames and the window drag lags
