    Qt Creator Rocks

OK, not as good as MSVS, but close, and constantly getting better. It has been the first IDE to ween me away from Emacs. I just wished it supported html editing cause once in a while a C++ person has to write html.

Isn't there at least syntax highlighting for html ? I thought it used Kate behind the scene for this kind of stuff.

Nope, Qt creator, at least on Linux, also can use Kate library for highlighting syntax in non-cpp files
