I've been playing with it (on windows), and yes, it is quite entertaining. Sure, it's not entirely balanced, but you'll see a lot of weird things moving around, the damage mechanics lead to some entertaining limping around in half-exploded wrecks, and it's easy to join another match immediately when you die. The building/design part is also neat - there are some annoyances, but for the price it's worth a shot.
