don't know about the rest, but for galium nine users this could be a chance to run it on intel cards since nine does not work on mesa drivers.

AFAIK it's made by LunarG as proof of concept, i.e. to proof that they are capable of writing graphics drivers etc.

There's more code sharing between Gallium3D drivers than classic and Gallium3D. Additionally you in theory benefit of all Gallium3D state trackers (not just nine) if you have a working Gallium3D driver. In theory these drivers result in less work for Intel in the long run

Gallium nine on ILO

Also we have tested small D3D9 demos on ILO and it seems to slowly getting to work.

At this moment, It needs two patches ->

http://lists.freedesktop.org/archive...er/067713.html fix for getting at least something to work (also included in nine git, so no need to care)

Big thanks goes to sarnex for testing it and hacking up pipe-loader support

Of course, to get it working propertly it will much more work from both sides (ilo and nine)

till now all statements are only somehow less work and something is benefiting.

i do not know really much about gallium etc. so i was hoping someone could give an explenation about ilo's benefits. seems to be difficult though
