Five months ago today was when LGP was planning a server migration with minimal downtime, while to this day they've yet to return...

Hand over all assets to Valve, Desura and GoG already.

With the majority of studios to seek Linux porters during these days, I believe this could be the best era for LGP.
      Pity.

exactly... LGP could have been in the same boat with Feral and Aspyr

Wasn't there this "Our developers have the ability and right to release a patch to remove the DRM when we stop operation" statement when they introduced their DRM system?
I think now would be a good time to make it happen.

"Likely my favorite port done by LGP, Cold War."

The Linux port of Cold War was ported by one of the employees from Mindware Studios. I know that LGP made some patches for a Linux version of this game and they are a Linux publisher of this game.

I agree that Cold war was an awesome game for Linux, but I noticed that many people just ignore it. I remember that was a first game for Linux that did not work on computers with Geforce 4 MX, and I had to buy a new graphic card in order to run this game.

Well, I remember that Michael Simms promised to remove DRM from several Linux games in this case, but Clive Crous as a new CEO did not say anything about it.

We do not know exactly if programmers still want to work for them.
I remember that many well-know companies, and individuals worked, or cooperated with them. Now, I just see a long list of companies that are closed, or companies that sell their Linux version of games.

That is a list of companies that still exist:

                DestraX Entertainment Software (Software Tycoon)
Strategy First (Disciples II: Dark Prophecy)

That is a list of companies that still exist, but they do not publish new games:

                Creature Labs (Creatures: Internet Edition)
                Hyperion Entertainment (Gorky 17)
                Slingshot (Soul Ride)
                Pyrogon (Candy Cruncher, NingPo MahJong)

That is a list of companies that were closed:

                Ascaron Entertainment (Sacred)
                Cyberlore Studios (Majesty: Gold Edition)
                CogniToy (MindRover: The Europa Project)
Eon Games (Hyperspace Delivery Boy!, NingPo MahJong)
                Grin (Ballistics, Bandits: Phoenix Rising)
                IGIOS (Shadowgrounds, Shadowgrounds Survivor)
Joymania Entertainment (Knights and Merchants: The Shattered Kingdom)
                Metropolis Software (Gorky 17)
Loki Software (MindRover: The Europa Project)
                Mindware Studios (Cold War)
                Monkeystone Games (Hyperspace Delivery Boy!)
                Tribsoft (Majesty: Gold Edition)

That is a list of companies that sell/will sell own versions of Linux games

                Egosoft (X3: Reunion)
                Frozenbyte (Shadowgrounds, Shadowgrounds Survivor)
                RakeInGrass (Jets'n'Guns)
RuneSoft (Knights and Merchants: The Shattered Kingdom)
Running with Scissors (Postal?: Share The Pain)

That is a list of programers that ported games for LGP:

Ryan C. Gordon (Candy Cruncher, Postal?: Share The Pain)
