    This is exactly what was expected due to the release of CS:GO for Linux. It's certainly not a coincidence. Many dual-boots no longer exist.

        Looks like Ubuntu 14.04 has more than half percent- does it include Ubuntu "forks" like Xubuntu/Kubuntu or this is just pure Unity Ubuntu?

              The lsb release of those forks show up as Ubuntu no matter what, at least judging from my "Steam system info" (I use Kubuntu and the system info reads Ubuntu as distro and Kwin as the window manager).

                Hey, I'm also on AMD (FX8150 + Radeon HD 7870) with 16 Gb Ram, but on (K)Ubuntu. So I'm a bit more majority than you... ;p

                    and from the 100 mil active steam users its ~1 mil linux users
