I wonder if the direct3d stuff will be ready before the next stable release.

Any serious wine user will know how stupid it is to have seperate wine versions for different applications and games!!!

I use wine-compholio on Arch to get a good round package, but hey, shouldnt this stuff be going upstream?!

E.g Splinter Cell Blacklist worked on older wine versions without any problems, but on newer wine versions its totaly unplayable!

At this rate, DriectX 12 will be out long before we get even halfway decent DirectX 10 support. Oh well, it doesn't matter that much to me in the long run as my dependence on WINE is slowly approaching an end. I haven't bought a non-Linux native game in a long time and don't plan to buy any in the future.
