Didn't even know that they plan to release Linux version. And proper on top of that!

Long story short, they're trying to do a proper Linux build without using Wine or any other wrappers for porting their Windows game.
But the game was released simultaneously on Windows and OS X. Does it mean the OS X version is running under a wrapper?

This game is wonderful. Can't wait for a proper Linux port. It's a true cRPG.

No, it means that the middleware they used (and are now replacing) is available for OS X, but not for Linux.

I dont think so, since it was part of the kickstarter that it would be multiplatform so they had some time to plan.

but if is a wrapper, havent seen much complaint from mac users. however this port will be totally native

They used shitty closed source middleware that's for osx and windows only.
This game is the reason I'll never kick start anything ever again.

They're fixing the problem and at the time developing for linux from the beginning was less common. They were probably half way into dev and didn't use a multi platform engine like unity which is what wasteland KS did.

Am sure they will do a good job and for future sequels they will have a foundation laid out
