The last commit in that branch was in 2012 which you will see once you go beyond the list of changes. Work on GTK+3 port is temporarily on hold, because there are more urgent things to do.

Fedora 22 has Firefox built with GTK 3 support. Fedora also has developers working on GTK 3 support for LibreOffice. Note that GIMP is the only program in your list using GTK directly for all of its UI.
