GAIM, or GTK+ AOL Instant Messenger, is no more! The GAIM project has been renamed from GAIM to Pidgin. No, this is not an April Fool's Day Joke, but it has really happened. GAIM had been secretly under fire by AOL for "GAIM" and this has also prevented them from releasing a final version of GAIM 2.0.
