Description: The only version I got to work on this is Ubuntu and Mandriva. Others load but don't recognize Synaptics drivers.
Hardware Notes: Acer laptop with 100GB hard drive, by default cut in three partitions: one is with WinXP Pro (NTFS) another one of equal size is empty for backup data (NTFS) a third very small proprietary partition that cannot be recovered without sending back to factory at users costs (that's right, blame the customer). After wiping out that one, the only OS I can use on the laptop is Linux unless I want to send more money to a bad, bad PC vendor for more service because it's my fault I want to u
