NVIDIA GeForce 7900GS and 7950GT Released

September 06, 2006 -- NVIDIA has today unveiled the GeForce 7900GS and GeForce 7950GT. The 7900GS uses 256MB of video memory while the 7950GT uses 512MB; both of these new NVIDIA cards are SLI supportive. The prices for these cards start at $199 USD and $299 respectively. NVIDIA's press release can be found here. After NVIDIA delivers Linux-supportive drivers for these new cards (1.0-9XXX), we will likely be delivering GNU/Linux results for the NVIDIA GeForce 7900GS 256MB and 7950GT 512MB.
