This motherboard isn't out yet (still another week or two), but it seems like an interesting creation for ASRock...

The key features with the ASRock AliveXfire-eSATA2 include Socket AM2, ATI Xpress 1600 + SB600 Chipset, ATI CrossFire support, Gigabit LAN (Yes, it's a big deal for being budget), Serial ATA 2.0, and the assortment of other things...

While still providing a budget price point, they have been gearing more products towards enthusiasts.

Look for an official announcement (and other sites to get wind of this info) on this motherboard coming later this month. A Phoronix review of the ASRock AliveXfire-eSATA2 is in store for the motherboard in the coming weeks. Also take note of ASRock's new series -- "Alive".
