GNOME 2.16.1 Released

October 04, 2006 -- GNOME 2.16.1, the first stable update in the GNOME 2.16 series, is being released today. Updated source packages are available from the GNOME FTP server. The GNOME 2.17/2.18 release schedule can be found here. At the time of writing the 2.16.1 release announcement has yet to hit the announce-list.
