I don't know what this site will be, but the PLUS in capital letters could probably replaced with $$$$.

If by your statement you mean subscription based content, no that is definitely not the case. Phoronix content will remain free.

PLUS could mean Phoronix Live Ubiquitous Scopes or just thinking of plus as the normal term "plus"... Once up and running, David Lin will be heading this new endeavor initially and then some yet-to-be-located bloggers.

It looks like Phoronix PLUS may be delayed, but David Lin's Linux, JavaFX, and digital photography blog will be starting soon.
