Default Coolmax Cd-510b-u2 Enclosure

While this item will not be featured in a Phoronix review, I wanted to give a shot out to the COOLMAX CD-510B-U2. This is a 5.25" external enclosure for use with IDE HDDs or optical devices. It's cheap, works terrific with GNU/Linux, good build quality, and has pretty much all you could ask for from a device. There is also a 40mm fan to provide active cooling. Using a Lite-On DVD burner I have run into no problems so far.

More on the COOLMAX CD-510B-U2 5.25" enclosure can be found @ http://www.coolmaxusa.com/productDet...&category=5.25
