Default New MacBook Pro Santa Rosa

Anyone else eyeing the new MacBook Pro Santa Rosa? I'll probalby be spring for it as everything about it is as close to exactly what I'm looking for in a laptop with minor grips (e.g. no right-click, only 2 USBs, etc). Mac OS X is just a bonus imho -- I love my VectorLinux 5.1.1/5.8 SOHO.

Any issues running Linux on MacIntels in the past, or is it a pretty safe bet just going for it? I'll probably wait about a few weeks anyway so perhaps some earybirds will have commented by then.

I have no problem running Fedora Core 6 64bit on a Mac Pro, so it must be similar for the Macbook Pro.
