863 frames in 5.0 seconds = 172.462 FPS
862 frames in 5.0 seconds = 172.262 FPS
1249 frames in 5.0 seconds = 249.600 FPS
1245 frames in 5.0 seconds = 249.000 FPS
753 frames in 5.0 seconds = 150.600 FPS

fgl_glxgears
Using GLX_SGIX_pbuffer
1869 frames in 5.0 seconds = 373.800 FPS
1530 frames in 5.0 seconds = 306.000 FPS
1380 frames in 5.0 seconds = 276.000 FPS
1802 frames in 5.0 seconds = 360.400 FPS
1915 frames in 5.0 seconds = 383.000 FPS

First off, what graphics card are you using? glxgears is NOT a benchmark. What frame-rate do you get with Cube? Have you tried any games like Enemy Territory?

If I recall, the frame-rate should be displayed in one of the corners. Can you try some other games? If I remember right, there may be some Cube + fglrx issues.

The Cube issue likely plagues all current fglrx display drivers. The issue is due to the Cube programming.

The open-source Radeon drivers should perform fine with Cube, if you are interested in that route.
