Default boom n64/psx usb adapter

I've got a couple of questions for this kind of adapter. I have an n64 controller plugged in and gets detected just fine.

It's kind of annoying that I have to keep recalibrating it though. But my main concern is how many games support this. Does anyone know?

I am not familiar with this type of game controller adapter. In the applications is the controller being shown as a joystick or what form of input device? What applications/games have you successfully used it with thus far?

It's recognized as a joystick. /dev/input/js0, if I'm not mistaken. I've managed to configure it on one emulator and vdrift... and the latter, by accident. It's still malfunctioning there though. I press B, to reconfigure the controls and it also triggers as 'back' on the menu.

I still need to recalibrate the stick EVERYTIME I boot up.
