Default Fc6 + Compiz + Fglrx 8.29.06

Hello, Thanks to this page I have been able to activate render of my card radeon 9600.

Code:
[ etocanna@oficina ~ ]$ glxinfo
name of display: :0.0
display: :0 screen: 0
direct rendering: Yes
My system is FC6 + Gnome + FGLRX 2.29.06 + Radeon 9600 + Compiz but i have problems.

SAid me this:
Code:
[ etocanna@oficina ~ ]$ desktop-effects
gnome-window-decorator: Screen 0 on display ":0.0" already has a decoration manager; try using the --replace option to replace the current decoration manager.
compiz: No composite extension
[ etocanna@oficina ~ ]$
Thanks!

The fglrx drivers do not support the desktop effects found within Fedora Core 6, as the present fglrx display drivers do not support AIGLX / GLX_ext_texture_from_pixmap. Thus you aren't able to enable the desktop effects. The only option would be reverting back to the open-source Radeon drivers, but there your performance will be limited even more in games, but your desktop effects would work. Alternatively, you could setup XGL with Compiz if you wanted to take that route.

They are included with Fedora Core 6 and X.Org 7.1. They should have been enabled by default. Remove fglrx and then in your xorg.conf change it back to radeon.
