Default Solaris Host Linux Virtualization?

Hi all,

I've been looking at using an OpenSolaris distribution for my next workstation, but one of my requirements is a Linux virtual environmnet, preferably Ubuntu or the like.

I've found some information about BrandZ containers which seems to indicate that it only supports Linux distributions based on a specific set of 2.4 kernels such as RedHat 3, as that's the API the container will provide to the userspace programs.

Are there any other solutions out there which are actually virtualization & which support full 32-bit Linux distributions?

Or am I stuck with Linux and LVM/EVMS instead of OpenSolaris ZFS goodness?
