I appreciate the idea behind this project, but personally I'm going to wait for an Asus EEE refresh before buying one of these mini-notebooks.

I'd have to agree with you. the EeePC sounds the most promising out of all the low-cost notebooks we've seen lately. (Or in the case of the Medison, not seen).

Really? There is not much information on the official site (other than a looping Flash movie). What are its specs, features, etc? 'Cause all they say it does, the OLPC also can do...
