Assumption pkgadd is broken (core dump):

Is the new pkg system independent from pkgadd mechanism?
If pkg is independent will a update for pkgadd be forthcoming?

If so is the correct mechanism for same:
1: /usr/lib/pkg.depotd &
2: pkg refresh
3: pkg image-update -nv

This concludes our operation.

If pkg is dependent on pkgadd what are the options to fix
opensolaris developer preview ?

I still think this is a vast, impressive improvement.
