        popular is a bit exaggerated. But IMHO it's a well known distro among most Linux distro hoppers.

        This distro has more in common with the original Gentoo than Sabayon and is also easy to install. A good distro for someone who want's to try a Gentoo system, which doesn't require much work at the installation.

        I tried this distro several month and I overall rather liked it, but I prefer easier distros like CentOS or Fedora now.

            Why is it that when Michael talks about Ubuntu Linux, he doesn't say "Ubuntu (Debian-Based) Linux"?

            He should be consistent.

              That is, because most Ubuntu users don't even know it uses the Linux kernel.
              How about [A-Z]buntu (Debian-Based) GNU/Linux?

                Because Calculate is Gentoo; and Ubuntu is not Debian.
