    Hopefully along with the "blink" E19 will bring much needed features that didn't make it into E18.

          if you read the E18 blog it says E18 is being worked on and features are getting added to it the funny part is E18 is not even released and they're jumpping on E19

            AFAIK E18 entered feature freeze some time ago. Most of the devs are working on the EFL 1.8 release (which i am not sure when its coming out) which is needed for E18. E18 will probably be released around october according to what the release manager said on his blog. If they decide to add small features to E18 after the EFL release or during the alpha/beta period i have no idea.

            E19 is about rewriting the compositor if i understand it well to make it better/faster so probably thats why the development started so early.
