    Kristian H?gsberg released version 1.2.2 of the Weston reference compositor today for Wayland. The new releases are mainly to iron out some unexpected bugs that landed in the recent Weston 1.2.1 release from last week. Wayland meanwhile is still at version 1.2.1...

    Too bad Debian and Ubuntu repositories have the old version.

    Ubuntu

        Debian is known for not including the newest version of software, and I don't think Ubuntu is very concerned about making sure it's up to date on this package either. You should probably pick another distro if you want to test Wayland or Weston.
