    It would be much more useful if it could run 3D games. I'm still looking for a solution to run x-plane for mac on Ubuntu etc.

      It can run 3D games, but not fast, so don't say "if it could run 3D games".

        I cross-compile SDL2 programs on Linux and they run fine in Virtualbox with a Windows XP guest if I enable 3D acceleration in the options. You can even have Direct3D emulation, something that is not possible with the "beloved" qemu. The 3d performance is still low, but it is better than nothing (qemu). And yes, I know some kernel hackers hate the kernel part of VBox's source code, but I've never had a single issue in more than 5 years.

          Warning!, I should go back to 4.2... 4.3 performances is the half of 4.2!! (i7 3770, 12Gb, 13.04 64 Bits, Nvidia 650Ti). Waiting for stabilization so....
