Phoronix: Phoronix Test Suite 0.2.1 Released

Earlier this week Phoronix Test Suite 0.2.0 was released, and in the speedy development cycle towards the first stable release of PTS, version 0.2.1 has been pushed out this morning. Phoronix Test Suite 0.2.1 includes a few new profiles, support for using the distribution's package management system for some tasks, and a few fixes since the 0.2.0 release. I don't know what's wrong with these results but my 2.3 GHz Phenom 9600 encodes the audio file to FLAC in 7 seconds (vs. 15 for his Q6600 at 2.4 GHz and 8 at 3 GHz)… I guess it comes down to compilation options, which would need to be standardized for the benchmarks.
