Too little and WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too late. Android started out using bluez as its bluetooth stack, but due to severe limitations, it was dropped and replaced with bluedroid, which is a custom bluetooth stack developed by google and broadcom. If bluez wanted to remain part of Android, they should have made all the improvements needed LONG BEFORE being dropped.
