Default IOzone instead of HDparm in universe

I know you use HDparm to facilitate the read tests in the universe suite but it would also be useful to have a test that also checks out the write performance. Writing performance for example on a board with a SB700 southbridge is 1/2 of what other chipsets get for speed with it's broken NCQ support. IOzone might be a better benchmark to have in that suite.

Is it only in the git release? It's not present in 0.5.1

Yes, in git it's found in universe-cli, which in turn is called by universe.
