AMD Radeon Crimson Software For Linux Is Now Available
AMD's Radeon Software (the new "Catalyst" driver) for Linux is now available, being released on the same day as the Crimson Windows release.
We've been excited about AMD talking up Radeon Software as their new graphics driver. There's a new Qt-based UI panel and more. Yesterday we learned Crimson is supposed to offer some performance gains for Linux users too.
This morning the driver release is now available. You can download Radeon Software Crimson Edition for Linux x86_64 via AMD.com. I'm firing up a bunch of tests right now... Stay tuned for more coverage on Phoronix throughout the day.
