Mesa 13 Lands In Fedora 25

While it was disappointing that Fedora 25 shipped with Mesa 12.0, the Mesa 13.0 version has now been sent down as a stable release update.

If you fire up dnf update today, you should now be able to upgrade to Mesa 13.0.

Sure enough, it's there and just upgraded on my main production system and it's been running fine. This is one of the benefits of Fedora's more liberal update strategy of allowing new Mesa and Linux kernel release to come down the pipe post-release, compared to Ubuntu and others.

Over Mesa 12, Mesa 13.0 has performance improvements, OpenGL 4.5 for the Intel driver on Broadwell and newer, and an assortment of other enhancements. Mesa 13.0 also added the RADV Vulkan driver, but Fedora isn't currently shipping the Vulkan drivers.
