FreeBSD 11 Is Still Being Respun & Tested, Hope To Release Next Week
Last week news came out that the FreeBSD 11.0 release wasn't going to happen as planned but it needed to be respun due to security issues. The release was supposed to happen on 3 October, but now we find out it needed to be re-spun again and is still going through testing.
Additional last-minute issues led to FreeBSD 11.0 needing to be rebuilt and they are being cautious this time with testing what will hopefully be the final ISOs.

As many of you are aware, 11.0-RELEASE needed to be rebuilt to address several issues that were discovered after the release was built. Extra caution is being taken in testing the rebuilt releases, so at present, the final release announcement is planned for Monday, October 10.
