The Freedreno Gallium3D driver that provides reverse-engineered, open-source OpenGL support for Qualcomm Adreno GPUs is now capable of OpenGL 4.5 with the Adreno 600 series graphics processors.

Rob Clark at Google continues working heavily on the Freedreno driver project he started many years back. In time for the imminent Mesa 22.3 feature freeze, Freedreno has managed to cross OpenGL 4.4 and 4.5 for Adreno 600 class GPUs.

Up to this point the Freedreno driver had been limited to OpenGL 4.3 but the remaining extensions have now been wired up in taking it to OpenGL 4.5. Among the remaining bits now exposed are ARB_query_buffer_object and ARB_clear_texture that were needed for OpenGL 4.5 compliance.

Via this MR there were 14 commits for Freedreno in taking it to the OpenGL 4.5 milestone. Yet another feature for the very eventful Mesa 22.3 that is set to debut in a few weeks as the Q4'2022 collection of open-source OpenGL/Vulkan driver updates.
