GTK+ Wayland Drawing Tablet Support Lands
Carlos Garnacho writes today that they have managed to finally land support in the GTK+ tool-kit's Wayland code support for (drawing) tablets.
They didn't have tablet support on Wayland in time for GNOME 3.20 but that code is now being worked on for GNOME 3.22 with the tablet protocol support now in the Wayland-Protocols repository.
For videos and more about this GTK+ Wayland tablet support as an early GNOME 3.22 feature, see Garnacho's blog post. GNOME 3.22 will be released this September and many more Wayland improvements are planned for this latest GNOME desktop development cycle.
