Libinput 1.1.0 Released, Brings Pointer Acceleration Profiles

Peter Hutterer announced the release of libinput 1.1.0 as the newest feature update to this display-server/protocol-agnostic Linux input handling library.

Libinput 1.1.0 introduces support for pointer acceleration profiles and a new "flat" profile. This new flat option moves the pointer un-accelerated in 1:1 of the device's physical movements to its virtual movements. You can find out more about libinput pointer acceleration via the documentation.

Aside from that, there's less than a dozen other changes making up this input library that's of critical importance to Wayland and growing importance to X.Org and Mir too. More details via the release announcement.
