Not to be confused with the Java Iced Tea project, which happened to have a new release today, Keith Packard tagged the new X.Org Server under a "Iced Tea" codename.

Keith Packard tagged X.Org Server 1.13 on Wednesday evening, which he has codenamed Iced Tea. Officially tagging xorg-server 1.13.0 was done via this Git commit.

Another Phoronix article to be published shortly will go into detail the changes for X.Org Server 1.13, which is quite a significant release with many new features. The 1.13 release announcement can be found via the xorg-announce list.
