A Load Of X.Org Packages Get Updated
A large set of X11/X.Org components have seen new release updates in the past few days.
Alan Coopersmith of Oracle has released minor updates to a number of X11/X.Org packages since this past weekend. The updated packages include:
Editres 1.0.6 - Maintenance updates to the tool that allows viewing the widget hierarchy of any X Toolkit application using the Editres protocol.
Showfont 1.0.4 - Automake and other fixes for this tool to display data about fonts by the X Font Server.
Viewres 1.0.4 - Minor maintenance updates for this tool to display widget class hierarchy for the Athena Widget Set.
Xconsole 1.0.5 - Minor maintenance work on the tool for displaying in a window the messages sent to /dev/console.
Xditview 1.0.4 - More minor work.
Xedit 1.4.1 - Ditto.
Xgc 1.0.4 - Ditto...
Xmag 1.0.5, Xmessage 1.0.4, Xvidtune 1.0.3, Bdftopcf 1.0.4, Beforelight 1.0.5, Xcalc 1.0.5, and Ico 1.0.4 are the other packages that also received updates and were minor in nature -- mostly configuration/build script fixes and other minor improvements to the software.
