The Phoronix Migration Is Fully Complete
After some rough hours, all of the Phoronix infrastructure should be located now within its new data center. If any problems are experienced in getting your dose of Phoronix, please contact us.
Since Saturday night, the Phoronix server infrastructure was migrated to some more beefy Intel hardware in a new data center. The process went relatively smoothly aside from some Phoronix Test Suite and OpenBenchmarking.org issues over the night and into today. Fortunately, as of a few minutes ago, those communication problems seem to have been worked out. If you encounter any issues at all in using our leading open-source benchmarking software, please contact me as soon as possible.
Overall, with this migration, page load times should be faster now with our new Florida-based location and faster hardware.
Coming up on the road-map is now a new Phoronix site roll-out and another new project launching this summer -- yes, it's related to Anzwix.
Anyhow, hopefully enjoy the faster speeds now and if any server issues are encountered please contact us.
