PRIME Sharing Comes To GLAMOR
Michel Dänzer of AMD has provided a patch so that PRIME multi-GPU sharing will work with the GLAMOR 2D acceleration architecture, as needed for the Radeon HD 7000 series support and optionally for other generations of AMD and Intel GPUs.
The 100+ line patch that enables support for the Optimus-like PRIME implementation when using the GLAMOR acceleration library can be found on the xorg-driver-ati mailing list.
GLAMOR accelerates 2D over OpenGL rather than the X.Org drivers having any hardware-specific EXA/UXA code-paths.
