Plasma NM 0.9.3.0 is a new KDE Plasma applet for NetworkManager in managing network connections and is written in QML/C++. This new version replaces the older widget-based NetworkManagement applet for the KDE desktop.

The new KDE Plasma NM was created since the existing Plasma NetworkManaget applet wasn't usable with KDE Plasma Active devices and has other shortcomings.

This new applet is written in QML/C++ and should be a nice upgrade for using NetworkManager on KDE. Additional details on the applet's first release can be found in this blog post.
